*We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Lead Technical**Consultant*to work in the Dell Services Dynamics AX practice.
*Role overview*
The Lead Technical consultant will have responsibility across the life cycle of the project especially during design, development and testing phases of the project , Primary responsibilities include monitoring and managing Dynamics AX environments both internal and external customers, solution configuration and design, and delivery of project tasks on time and on budget.
*This is a Bangalore based position that could require travel based on project needs. ***
*Role Responsibilities*
MS Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Lead Performs the following Duties
· Monitor the delivery of the technical team throughout the project lifecycle
· Work with the Project Manager and team members to ensure ontime and within budget delivery of the project.
· Develop and Own the application development strategy based on Microsoft guidelines
· Develop and own the instance promotion strategy
· Develop and own the testing strategy for the project
· Plan and build the development environment for the project
· Working closely with the quality teams to ensure adherence to development best practices during the project lifecycle
· Instrumental in setting up and monitoring project defect tracking tools
· Assist in defect closing, defect tracking and defect root cause analysis
· Assist with review of functional requirement and design documents. Develop and own technical design documents
· Active participation in discussions with the client and project teams.
· Guide the technical team on various aspects of the AX development activities
*Requirements*
Successful individuals will be self-starters with the following attributes:
* Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
* Min 8 years of work experience
* Min 2 project experience in working in AX 2012
* Min 4 year’s experience in working with Dynamics AX any version 2012 /2009/ 4.0
* Min 4-5 years technical experience with any ERP software. Experience in Dynamics preferred.
* Familiar with and experienced in:
o Core application functionality
o Implementation Methodology
o Application technology stack
o Related Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio and TFS, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft BizTalk Server and Active Directory.
* Willingness to complete applicable product certification exams.
* Nice to Have - Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 certifications:
o Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Installation and Configuration
o Microsoft SQL Server 2008 - Implementation and Maintenance
o Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases
o Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development
* Very strong knowledge in Morphx, X and Visual Studio
* Must have good working knowledge of related AX technologies
o Workflow Development
o AIF/ Integration
o Report/ BI Development
o Knowledge of best practices in AX development
* Must have good knowledge of Project Management tools and worked on
o Creating and Revewing TDD
o Defect Management
o Unit/ System and Integration Testing
* Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics AX Workflow
* Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics AX BI (Role Centers, KPI’s, Cubes)
* Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
* High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality
* Ability to mentor and develop team members
