**Description**
**Position Purpose** **:**
Manage Origination / sales of Oilseeds \(Rapeseed and Soybean\) and Meals in volumes and grow cash footprints
Manage origination for Cash to Futures arbitrage book\.
Managing and development of SCM business for the respective region\.
Liaison with Brokers / Agent / Suppliers
Manage Compliances related to Mandi and respective region
Generate Key markets insights and SND for own market and customers
Manage all aspects of TE and Operations for own cash books
**Principal Accountabilities** **:**
A\. Merchandising of Oilseeds and Oil Meal
+ Analysis and research to determine best origination option for the region
+ Development / Maintain S&D of relevant Oilseeds / Oil\-meal on real\-time basis along with GTA
+ Expansion of suppliers Database for Oilseeds, Meal,
+ Origination of Commodities : Soybeans, Rapeseed, Soybean Meal, Rapeseed Meal
+ Marketing & Development of Supply chain management business in respective oilseeds & oil\-meals
+ Analysis and research to determine best origination option for the region
B\. Trading
+ Active participation in development of trading game plan / trading strategy
+ In\-depth knowledge of trading at Commodity exchanges operations / processes / Compliances
+ Origination of Rapeseed/Soybean for Cash\-Futures arbitrage business model
+ Originate / Dispose\-off of oilseeds and oil meals into the cash market
+ Active participation in location based arbitrage trading activity in oilseeds and Oil\-meals
C\. Execution
+ Coordinate with operation team to originate quality as per requirement
+ Coordinate with operation team to dispatch cargo as per sale contracts
+ Ensure timely payments to suppliers, debtors scheduling and settlement
+ AR management with strong follow up and controls to ensure zero defaults
+ Liaising with Mandi authorities / Brokers & Suppliers
+ Negotiation of quality, quantity and terms of delivery and purchases with suppliers in coordination with operation team
+ Ensure Delivery as per specification of contracts, within the time schedule in coordination of operation team\.
+ Engaging and diversifying supplier base to ensure optimum quantity procurement
+ MIS Report Daily / Weekly / Monthly procurement plan
+ MIS Report Daily / Weekly / Monthly Stock management
+ Tracking of Mandi activities i\.e\. Arrival and price movement of Oilseeds
+ Tracking of Plants activities i\.e\. crushing and there sales and maintenance the record on frequent basis\.
D\. Market Intelligence
+ Understanding of crop cycle and gather market intelligence in form of
+ \-Weather reports, Sowing Status \(acreage trends, yield trends\)
+ \-Crop sowing, harvesting and arrivals patterns
+ \-Tracking of seeds arrivals, crush margins, crushing pace, meal demand / consumption carry out etc\.
+ \-Track of competition activities – Procurement / Consumer / Traders / Suppliers
+ \-Track development w\.r\.t\. logistic – Truck Railways, Warehousing etc\.
+ Local SND
+ \-Take lead in generating inputs for continuously updating the supply & demand grids
+ \-Coordinate with GOSC GTA team for crop surveys
+ \-Coordinate with Trading desk at HO for developing commodity views
+ Statutory
+ \-In depth knowledge on all statutory requirements related to origination, storage, sales & transportation of relevant oilmeals
+ \-Ensuring Cargill’s compliance with all applicable local laws related to origination with zero deviance\.
+ \-Working within Cargill SOPs and adherence to controls & procedures as advised by the company from time to time
**Qualifications**
**Essential Functions/Requirements** **:**
\-5\-7 year experience in agro trading / marketing and strong commercial orientation
\-Aggressive and street smart resource with a go\-getter attitude & analytical bent of mind
\-Functional English language communication skills
\-Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills and ability to work on word/excel/mail/power point
\-Previous experience in Purchase function / Agro Tradng related to oilseed industry is highly preferred\.
\-Having knowledge of and contacts in consuming industry
\-knowledge of crops, trade flows and ability to capture opportunities the market presents
\-proven ability to professionally develop and manage strong customer/supplier relationships
\-Willing to travel to meet with customers and suppliers
\-Self\-motivated with high achievement orientation cable of working without constant supervision
\-Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
\-Teamwork Skills \- ability to work effectively with a team comprised of diverse skills sets and work/life experiences
