Control System Technology provides strategic application development and production support to 5 firm-wide organizations whose focus is strongly aligned to the firm’s enterprise wide control agendas: Oversight and Control, IT Risk Management, Sourcing & Procurement, Global Security & Investigations, and Global Business Resiliency.
As a Senior .Net Developer within the IT Risk and Security Management organization, you will work as part of an agile development team to ensure that quality engineering practices are used in the delivery of software solutions that satisfy the business's needs. You will work with the team leads to evolve development practices that maximize the velocity of the development team in providing efficient, reliable, maintainable, and secure code. You will be active throughout the software development life cycle.
You will be responsible for estimating work effort against user stories and provide commitments. You will participate and ensure that code reviews validate the quality of code being delivered, that knowledge is being shared across the group, and that common design principles are being applied. You will assist in the remediation of issues and participate in deployments.
* 5 years of application development experience.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions on time.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment
* Bachelor degree in computer science or related field preferred.
* Experience working on a large scale web applications with strong exposure to ASP.NET MVC, C#
* Experience with popular front-end frameworks like jQuery, bootstrap, jQueryUI.
* Through understanding of OO design patterns and OO design principles like SOLID, DRY.
* Experience with using Object Relational Mappers (ORM) like Entity Framework, NHibrnate.
* Familiarity with JavaScript MV* frameworks like AngularJS, KnockoutJS
* Familiarity with Oracle and PL/SQL
