**Role Summary/Purpose**

IT Operations lead overseeing operations for a suite of global HR Systems applications used for employee life cycle management from Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Session- C, Compensation, Learning and Exit processes

**Essential Responsibilities**

Lead IT Operations, partnering with IT Program managers, client leaders, end-users and Executive Development Leaders, to drive simplification and IT operations SLA’s

• Champion large-scale process and technology improvement efforts, to provide mutually acceptable, cost effective IT solutions

• Drive operations processes using DevOps model

• Manage a team of resources, comprised of GE employees, contractors and vendors, and conduct status reviews with senior leadership

• Lead programs and projects in support of the strategic initiatives related with incident reduction, simplification, process excellence, security and compliance

• Evaluate emerging technologies for performance improvement and monitoring to help world class operations and end user experience

• Partner with IT program managers to drive operations processes across applications

• Accountable for operational excellence, with duties including monthly production release, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution & closure for all operations

• Prepare and present operations plans, status reports, and cost/benefit studies

• Ensure the quality and delivery of the SLA’s by partnering with the IT solution providers and GE Corporate IT Program Managers

• Champion quality methodologies and identify opportunities to improve internal processes, application availability and performance

• Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve IT issues for client leaders and end-users

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Engineering/MBA degree or related from premier institutes

• 8+ years’ experience in Information Systems

• Strong technical skills in the areas of web technologies, oracle, SOA

• Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve

• Experience in the integration with and/or management of externally-hosted 3rd Party Software as a Service applications

• Experience of working in a shared services model

• High level of energy and enthusiasm, with ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
