Job Description:
The Informatica Developer/Analyst will design, develop, implement and support enterprise initiatives around data integration and building a data and reporting infrastructure. This position is primarily responsible for data analysis, developing and maintaining Informatica ETL processes along with a rotational on-call production support responsibilities. The role will work to consolidate disparate data sources through implementation of an efficient and optimized ETL strategy.The position will also support in shaping and enhancing the overall ETL/Informatica architecture while adhering to ETL standards and guidelines during development. Based on requirements, they will scope the size of the effort needed to perform impact assessments. This position works closely with BI developers, architects, and functional teams and the role will have the opportunity to assist with and validate the solution design and the production of all design phase deliverables. Additionally, the senior role will act as a team leader on highly visible enterprise projects. The role will also work with technical staff to develop resolutions to problems, while assisting in developing the junior team members.
*_Responsibilities:_*

* Understanding of Source application data flow & data model, data analysis and build a data ware house conceptual and physical data model.
* Review and analyze ETL requirements, create design documents based on business requirement and function requirement documents.
* Design, develop and maintain complex ETL mappings, mapplets and workflows to extract data from various Application data sources to Brocade's Enterprise data warehouse.
* Provide scalable solutions for handling large data volumes and complex reporting.
* Establishes and enforces data warehousing standards to meet IT requirements and business needs
* Develop queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and materialized views
* ETL Performance improvements and SQL Performance tuning.
* Develop Unit Test plans and Conduct thorough testing of ETL code changes to ensure quality of data produced.
* Provide day-to-day support and mentoring to end users who are interacting with the data.
* Other tasks involve analyzing transaction errors, troubleshooting issues, bug-fixes.
Qualifications/Job Responsibilities: *_Requirements & Experience:_*

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

* 4-6 years of strong expertise in ETL Design, Development, Testing and Implementation of Data warehouse using Informatica Powercenter ETL tool

* Experience in Informatica Cloud is an added advantage

* Experience in Enterprise Data warehouse (EDW) or Data Mart implementation

* Good understanding of Data warehouse concepts Star-schema dimensional modeling, Snow flaking etc

* Experience creating and reviewing ETL design and mapping specifications documents

* Must have Strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL skills including DB query performance tuning, database structure creation, modification etc

* Exposure to dealing with the challenges of large relational data sets, including load performance, query performance, archiving, etc

* Hands-on experience in reporting tools such as Business Objects, Tableau is a plus

* Experience using Informatica on Big Data and Hadoop technologies

* Experience in sourcing data from Oracle ERP ( E-business Suite) 11i/R12
