Identity & Access Management: Provide identity and access management solutions for the firm’s infrastructure and
applications. Ensure the appropriate access controls are in place and applied effectively and continuously.
Responsibilities:
EAA team is committed to assisting our Line of Business users by provisioning properly authorized system access in a
timely and secure manner. Agents play a critical role by providing users with an appropriate level of access to business
applications that directly impacts the firm's ability to service internal and external customers.
The job responsibilities of an Agent include: responding to Level 2 complex user access requests within the R-SAM
request system, following Information Owner sanctioned procedures for provisioning access, responding to escalated
requests immediately and documenting all request activity within the request system for audit compliance, while adhering
to SLA requirements. The agent will be responsible to resolve Peregrine Incident Management requests in the same
manner.
- Other responsibilities include recording daily metrics; managing requests sent to an internal mailbox, audit/compliance
activities, projects, and verbal/written communications to our customers and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of the various lines of business supported is helpful.
- Analysis of requests for potential risk before action.
- Escalating, rejecting and querying requests where necessary.
- Review and maintain process/procedural documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security system access issues.
- Break fix support of access rights for privileged and emergency accounts and issues where users have trouble
checking out break fix accounts. This requires knowledge of multiple systems, as well as a general understanding of the
functionality for these systems.
- Technical expertise may be required on some platforms.
- Answer general inquiries regarding information security practices or security access.
- Make recommendations for implementing desired level of access controls.
- Participate in implementation of security related projects for new/enhanced technology.
- Perform required tasks to implement new or enhanced security products and tools on supported platforms. Participate in
meetings as required.
- Engage other technical support groups as deemed appropriate. Identify process deficiencies and suggest process
Improvements.
- Support BCP/DR Testing initiatives.
- Participate in audit support activities, as they pertain to Information Security, for both internal and external audits.
Perform audit support tasks as assigned.
- Research supporting documentation. Perform required activities to resolve open audit issues. Prioritize workload
accordingly in order to accommodate critical audit activities such as SOX.
- Interface with Information Risk Managers to identify potential access control risk issues.
- Follow process and procedures to ensure compliance with policy. Report all suspicious activity or non-compliant access
rights to management and IRM.
- Provide daily customer support in order to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain good relationships with
lines of business.
- Ensure communication is customer focused and professional.
Reporting :
- Be flexible to work within a 24 X 7 work schedule. Occasional overtime may be required. Must be able to work the
following hours 4 AM to 1PM or 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM or 8:30PM to 5:30AM and the work days will vary.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting in support of various LOB initiatives. Maintain individual records for departmental metric
reporting. Compile metric reporting data as necessary.
- Ensure timely and accurate time recording in CLARITY.
Performance Management:
- Progress personal objectives, as agreed with your Supervisor/Manager, within the documented time scales. Report
progress and issues.
Process Improvement:
- Recommend procedural changes to enhance the functionality of the Risk and Security Management team.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes. Communicate with global peers across CTR, focusing
on service delivery improvements
Qualifications - Internal
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; degree in Risk Management, Operations or similar discipline preferred; or equivalent
work experience
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in application security, global operations and/or technology risk management
• Familiarity with IT risk management framework and control self assessment process preferred
