The role will support the Global CAO Operations organization works closely with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) and Lines of Businesses (LOBs) to implement an operational process supporting the Know Your Client (KYC) lifecycle that includes data collection, completion of the KYC profile, client screening, targeted local language and English language research, and quality assurance. The Quality Assurance (QA) Team is an integral part of the Controls environment within Global CAO Operations and is responsible for conducting a continuous analysis against internal procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy. The Global CAO Operations Teams – CLS and KYC Utility – have been tasked to support the businesses to screen and research Target Clients submitted by Business to develop Holistic View Diagrams (client’s global cross line of business footprint) and then work with businesses to align KYC documentation where a client has footprint across businesses covered by multiple KYC records. Client List Screening - Global utility responsible for screening the firm’s clients, employees, vendors, related parties and securities across all LOB’s and Corporate teams. Screening lists include OFAC / Sanctions, FinCEN, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), Negative Media and Internal Lists. The team reviews alerts generated by the firms strategic filter (Bridger) and identifies matches that require escalation to Compliance, GFCC or the LOB. The Global Corporate KYC Utility team, based in Hyderabad, India, is responsible for collecting & analyzing client data, documents and publically available information on JPMorgan’s existing clients to comply with firm’s AML/KYC Policy and Procedures. The team is, further, responsible for ensuring that all existing clients of JPMorgan Chase are renewed in accordance with firm AML/KYC Policy and Procedures. The team coordinates closely with LOBs to drive consistent application of the AML/KYC Policy and Procedures.
* Providing direction, advice, analytics and reporting across the teams to ensure key headcount, financial, delivery targets and analytics are well-understood and managed

* Governance and Communication – helping to drive town halls, off-sites, and weekly management meetings. Supporting creation of Executive-level presentations on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.

* Performance Management – providing management reporting, communication and client reporting, focusing on the overall business unit performance against objectives. Proactively highlighting issues and risks to the objectives, defining solutions and driving remedies to completion

* Vendor Strategy - participating in Vendor selection and management; working with Sourcing team to lead contract initiation, bidding, RFP reviews, selection criteria and vendor selection. Coordinating the review and approval of vendor statement of works

* Special Projects - participating in initiatives as assigned by Sr. management including presentations, ad-hoc analysis, People agenda and support

* Staffing - run capacity and competency models assess resource and alignment gaps and provide organization design support. Participate in recruiting priorities, design recruiting strategy, work extensively with HR/Recruitment team to implement and implement best practices throughout the organization

* Business Continuity Design & Refresh plans and coordinate business resiliency testing on periodic basis to ensure 100% compliance

* Positively and creatively influence change within the department and champion critical department and team initiatives

* Bachelor’s degree required and minimum 8-10 years experience in Operations /Business Management
* Demonstrated successful performance in Business Operations management role within Financial Services Industry

* Strong understanding of Compliance/Risk within Financial Services

* Strong verbal and written communication – must be able to deliver key messages succinctly to drive to consensus across a global organization

* Strong presentation skills – role requires designing, drafting and finalization of materials for review with senior business and operations partners

* Collaborative style to work with team members across functions and global/regions prioritizing issues, risks and analysis

* Proficiency in MS Office – PowerPoint and Excel

* Ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environment

* Strong conflict resolution, problem solving skills & quick decision-making ability
