**Job Description**

Job purpose

Shell’s Corporate Real Estate Function supports one of the largest real estate portfolios in the world providing facilities management on a global basis across 60 countries\. IT applications play a key role enabling the Facilities Management teams and service providers serve the Shell business and the Real Estate Competency Centre team in Global Functions IT is responsible for ensuring the health of the supporting applications and delivering projects and enhancements which maintain and improve the effectiveness of the individual applications\.

The Real Estate IT Project Manager will be responsible for

+ Delivering IT projects which contribute to the Facilities Management Function of Real estate
+ Managing vendors and internal delivery organisations to deliver business outcomes
+ Manage projects through a controlled stage gate process controlling risks, issues, budgets and schedule and reporting progress to stakeholders at different levels with the business and IT\.
+ Contribute to the wider Real Estate Competency Centre team

Job dimensions

The job requires close collaboration with the IT natural team supporting Real Estate including IRM, architecture, Infrastructure and Operations team as well as vendors, business analysts, IT management and Real Estate stakeholders\.

In this role the project manager will report to the Real Estate competency Centre Manager as part of a team of Project Managers & Business Analysts covering Real Estate & Corporate Security and will be part of a community of PM’s within Shell Global Functions\.

Project manager must ensure project delivery is aligned with the Shell PDF project delivery approach and effective governance is in place for projects involving business and IT stakeholders

The Project Manager will be accountable for delivering both small tactical projects of value of approx\. $100k and large multi year projects with budgets exceeding $1\.5m

Job Special Challenges

The size of Shell’s Real Estate portfolio requires Shell’s enterprise applications supporting facilities management to work at a scale beyond that of other companies\. This means that Shell can identify limitations in applications and requires projects to work closely with vendors and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues\.

**Requirements**

Experience and Qualifications

In order to meet the requirements of the role the successful candidate will have:

+ Graduate or post graduate
+ Years of experience \- 9 \- 12 years
+ Experience as Project Manager of global IT application deployment and upgrade projects in the Facilities Management area\.
+ Experience of delivering global IWMS projects, preferably involving Planon
+ Experience of delivering global room booking projects, preferably involving Condeco
+ Well\-developed communication skills including the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation and to establish and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders\.
+ Experience of delivering infrastructure projects involving both server upgrade and connected local hardware devices\.
+ Well developed vendor management skills\.
+ Ability to assure architecture high level designs
+ Well developed understanding of support principles and a track record of working collaboratively with support colleagues to transition applications upgrades in to support
