About the Mass Customization Platform
We are autonomous, full-stack developers who are comfortable working with the business on requirements, UI design, Rest APIs, and dealing with their respective persistence solutions. We look for individuals excited and eager to apply modern, best of industry practices (Restful JSON, Micro services, Continuous Delivery) to their solutions.
Our engineers build a wide variety of systems ranging from price quoting and discounting engines to order management, content management UIs, customer identity, and fulfillment. Responsibilities
+ Understand customer experience and business requirements and translate the same into simple, elegant and optimal technology solutions understanding customer behaviour, guided by business requirements
+ As a UI expert in our Product & Solutions team you'll be a key part of the idea generation process, & design interactions for applications, work closely with engineering team to successfully go from early-stage solution concepts to launch
+ You need to visualise detail level of design concepts from wireframes into creative visual design and prototypes to communicate ideas for navigation and interactions
+ Build the frameworks that support large, complex web applications for the enterprise
+ Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly
+ An eye for mobile-first, responsive web design based on sound UI/UX principles
Communication:
+ Act as a bridge between local business partners and off-shore developers/architects to create/improve product, process and technology
Skills and Experience
+ B.E./BTech/MCA/M.Tech with 6-9yrs of experience
+ UI/UX experience creating products. Experience in a start-up environment is preferred
+ Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience employing OOP using C#, Java, C, C++ or similar
+ Advanced knowledge of web technologies and protocols such as HTTP, Web Sockets, Request Routing, CSS3, Ajax, caching, etc.
+ Experience with continuous build and integration using one or more of the following Git, Subversion, Ant, Hudson, Maven, Team city, Jenkins or other similar
+ Strong understanding of UI concepts, techniques, frameworks and tools & Core front-end development experience.
+ Expertise with JavaScript based frameworks like Bootstrap and jQuery is a must
+ Experience in developing Single Page Applications using Bootstrap and RESTful APIs
+ Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components
+ Understanding performance nuances of CSS, JavaScript, and DOM along with general knowledge of how browsers work would be a plus
+ Experience in working in an Agile Development Environment
+ Ability to travel to the USA
