GTI – Service Operations \(GTI\-SO\) are a global team which comprises of Distributed Server Services, Global Storage Technologies, product management, and middleware & messaging\. GTI\-SO is responsible for managing the firm's global storage portfolio, selected application services, data base management and server portfolio of 100K servers globally\.
The GTI\-SO Server Maintenance Team is a part of GTI Service Operations as a part of firm’s Cyber agenda Server Maintenance team is in\-charge of maintaining a consistently configured environment that is secure against known vulnerabilities and defects in operating systems\. Through the provision of regular predictable maintenance access to the environment, GTI\-SO Server Maintenance team is able to reduce incidents caused as a result of known vulnerabilities through the remediation of TVM and ESM breaks, high\-uptime re\-boots, OS level server patching and associated upgrades such as ASMLIB, VCS and EMC power\-path\.
We are looking to extend our GTI\-SO Server Maintenance team in response to a significant increase in the supported inventory baseline, and we welcome applications from experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager candidates with a proven track record of working in a high\-pressure operational environment\.

6\. Work hours for this role would be 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM India Standard Time\.
7\. Working days would be Tuesday thru Saturday or Thursday thru Sunday \(expect the resources to be flexible in shifts\)\.
**Qualifications**
**K** **ey responsibilities:**
1\. Will be part of production support team supporting health and compliance \(patching, break remediation\) of all UNIX and WINTEL servers globally\.
2\. Will be responsible to ensure all the activities in a given shift are completed\.
3\. Will be responsible to ensure all pending activities are clearly communicated to the next shift lead
4\. Will be responsible to ensure the maintenance work gets completed with in the given time with the right quality\.
5\. Will be responsible for ensuring operational process/guidelines are adhered by the resources in the team\.
6\. Will be responsible for driving critical situations \(Priority one issues\)
7\. Ensuring timely escalations are occurring for critical P1 issues to the management\.
8\. Ensuring critical issues are attended in a timely manner\.
9\. Will be responsible for training team members and driving key projects
10\. Will be responsible for prioritizing tasks, projects, managing SLA’s, client relationships\.
**Skills:**
1\. ITIL Process experience \- Incident Management and Change Management required\.
2\. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure platforms\.
3\. Advanced knowledge across all supported platforms \(Solaris, RHEL, AIX\)
4\. Understanding of security best practices for multi\-tiered operating systems and patching of Operating systems\.
