As much as I love makeup and cosmetics, I've always believed that beauty also begins with great skin - Skin that glows.
It's not easy for people who have oily and acne prone skin (like myself) to maintain a perfect flawless skin, especially in this humid weather of Malaysia. Plus, I wear makeup almost everyday! That makes it even more important to ensure a super clean face at the end of every day.
There were nights when I just want to sleep off with those makeup, either I'm too tipsy or tired, but I always make it a must to at least follow through the simple 3-step skincare routine.
My skincare routine is very simple! Simple is nice okay. Hahaha. I don't think I need to spend a bomb on skincare products because you know what, affordable skincare like Clean&Clear still does wonders to my skin! Clean&Clear is like one of the first skin product I used when I was going through puberty. LOLOLOL
This Clean & Clear Essentials Skincare range is the most basic yet effective range for oily skin! They come in tiny little portable sizes, makes it easy for me to bring along when I'm off-site or travelling.
After removing my makeup, I'll follow these steps:
1. Cleanse with Essentials Foaming Facial Wash
Essential Foaming Facial Wash comes with oil-free formula which thoroughly cleanses to remove excess oil and dirt without over drying. 2. Tone with Essentials Oil-Control Toner
Excuse me, what do you mean this step is not important? I know a lot of girls actually skip this step. I was one of them too in the past, but now that I know toner like this actually works deep down to the pores to help prevent common skin problems, I never skip it anymore!
3. Moisturize with Essentials Moisturizer
For supple, beautifully clear skin.... this moisturizer spells it out. My favourite part of the skincare routine will always be this step! If you know me well enough, you'll know I'm a big fan of moisturizing products.
However, sometimes moisturizers can do more harm than good for people with oily skin. Good thing is, this moisturizer is simple enough to give me just right amount of moisture my skin needs. Bye bye blackhead and pimple! :D
