There can be very few more successful ways of building up excellent business relationships, while also sharing valuable ideas, than open and extremely enjoyable face-to-face gatherings.
Set against the historic and cultural backdrop of one of Europe’s greatest cities, Yealink recently had the privilege of meeting, talking to and presenting its latest ideas, products and marketing vision to an impressive panel of VoIP innovators, forward-thinkers, entrepreneurs and service-providers from both sides of the Atlantic.
Amsterdam in The Netherlands was the venue for June’s Cloud Communication Alliance’s quarterly conference organised along a theme of ‘The Transatlantic Cloud’. The CCA is a major American industry association of leading cloud communication providers with which Yealink works closely.
The event certainly proved to be an influential trans-Atlantic business forum. However, it was also the perfect informal opportunity to make new friends amongst the famed waterways and 17th century architecture of the Dutch Golden Age. Mixing business and pleasure was a great successful!
Progress and history
The result was a memorable and highly-productive two-day meeting that, just as the organizers intended, was both engaging and informative. Yealink worked with the CCA organisers to ensure a smoothly-run conference and our reward was very positive feedback from most of the attendees.
Yealink’s own sessions proved very popular, as did the Demo Workshop, Yealink’s business partnership concept presentation and, of course, the Amsterdam evening canal tour.
Interest centred very strongly on the presentation of Yealink’s new global business development and marketing strategy which was designed very carefully to demonstrate the outstanding value that is now offered through the ‘Win-win partnership with Yealink’.
This message was received enthusiastically. It was also gratifying to hear major ITSPs and partners - including Voiceworks, Nfon and Leonid - speak so highly of our company. We were particularly honoured by their comment that Yealink is now perceived to be a leading global brand with an influence that rivals Polycom.
Quality and simplicity
Yealink’s growing success is based on its unrelenting focus on developing and delivering telecommunication solutions that are extremely easy for anyone to install and use.
This point was made very clearly by Wei Tang, VP of Business Development and ITSP Sales North America, when he told guests that, “The continuous enhancement of our product quality and technical service represents a strategic step forward in driving our market vision which is to provide high standards, attractively-priced products and offer high-quality technical services.” He added, “This is our way of ensuring that our customers and our business partners enjoy great success in their own business.”
We sincerely hope that the many friendships and valued new contacts that were established in Amsterdam lead to close bonds, strong worldwide partnerships and a better understanding of markets and products.
Our overall aim is for increasing numbers of like-minded business users find it ever easier to communicate clearly and cost-effectively over long distances. This key message was taken home by everyone.
