Avon Holiday Catalog Launches on Google Catalogs



Avon has launched the 2012 Holiday Catalog on Google Catalogs, just in time for holiday shopping! Google Catalogs is a shopping application for both Android and iPad Tablets that allows Customers to browse a variety of Avon products and easily click through to purchase them. Plus, the best part is that you still get credit for the purchases!

This is the perfect time to let your Customers know they can shop from and subscribe to AVON on Google Catalogs for FREE! They just go into the application and look under the Holiday category to find AVON.

Google Catalogs is a FREE download from the iTunes App Store or Google Play.

We are hearing quite a bit of excitement over Avon's new Google Catalog and hope you and your Customers are enjoying it. Please remember, that if your Customers are browsing the Avon Google Catalog and decide to click through to purchase a product, they will either be taken directly to your Online Store or be presented with an option to select you as their Representative prior to checkout. This process works exactly the same way as if they were searching or browsing online and decided to make a purchase on their personal computers.

We also want you to be aware that the Avon Google Catalog is not exactly the same as our Campaign Brochures. Currently, the Avon Google Catalog is a highlight of some of our top rated and featured products. It is a great opportunity for your Customers to shop for a selection of Avon products right from their tablets.

Are you taking advantage of your FREE Online Address Book?

Our goal is to help you be as organized as possible so that you can make your business extremely successful. In order to help you, we are constantly updating and adding new features to the Online Customer Address Book. All you have to do is go into the Web Office, choose Manage Your Address Book, and begin adding your Customers.

Assuming you are opted into the Avon Automated Email Program, just enter (at least) your Customer's name and email address and you will be able to select if they will begin receiving Campaign and Promotional Emails.

However, if you prefer emailing them yourself, you can go into the Email Service Center and choose from a variety of emails that we have created for you. If you are in the Automated Email Program you're allowing Avon to send your Customers Campaign and Promotional emails on your behalf. The emails will be sent to your Customers as if they are coming directly from you. We even use your name in the "From" field. You can even add your own email address into your Address Book to see the emails we are sending.

What are some great ways to promote my own Personal Webpage so that Customers can find me?

Once you've added your Customers to your Address Book and set up a Personalized Webpage, it's time to start promoting yourself. Here are some great tips:

? Go into the Email Service Center within the Web Office, and send out your Open House Email. This email template is a great way to alert your Customers that you have an Online Store. Have you already sent out the Open House Email? Well, maybe it's time to send it out again, and have a grand re-opening!
? Take part in Avon's Automated Email Program. Go into the Personalization Tool in the Web Office and select to have Avon send out campaign and promotional emails on your behalf.
? Think about adding your Personal Webpage URL to your Customer Invoices, stamps or labels that you use for your brochures, or even to your Avon business cards.
? Participate in local online advertising, such as Websites like Craigslist or your local telephone directory. Just make sure that you do not use Avon trademarks, such as Anew or Avon.
? Share a Social Media Widget with your Facebook community or other social networks. Go into the Web Office and choose the Social Media option to view all of the campaign related widgets we offer. All of these widgets will show your contact information and link through to your Online Store.

Recruiting is not a requirement by AVON. However, it is a great way to expand your business and grow your income potential AVON has some great rewards for unit leaders. Growing a unit and recruiting new reps can take some creative ideas.

Becoming a unit leader is not hard but it does take time. These recruiting ideas will help you grow a stronger, more productive unit in no time.

AVON Recruiting Ideas: Tell Everyone

First and foremost, people have to know that you are an AVON Representative and that you are interested recruiting. How can they sign up or even let you know that they are interested if they don't know you are a rep?

Just like you would when you approach new customers, tell them about your business and let them know that you are looking for new reps if 'they happened to know anyone interested' or 'if they know anyone needing to make an extra income'.

Without directing it directly to them, it won't scare off those shy people who don't like pushy recruiters. Once your conversation gets started let them know about your business, why you enjoy it and what AVON has to offer them!

Just be polite. Be yourself and let folks know what you do!

Your Best Customer Could Be Your Best Recruit!

AVON Recruiting Ideas: Recruit your customers!

Your customers are already interested in AVON or else they wouldn't be your customers. Why not ask them if they would be interested in the opportunity.

There are 2 Pro's to asking your customers:

1. You know they are already interested in AVON.

2. You can offer them great discounts by letting them sign up and become a rep. Even if they only open it for a personal account. 90% of the time they will end of selling to everyone.

Don't want to scare them off? NO problem. Simply drop a nice recruiting flyer in their next order. They will see it and if they are intersted they will feel more comfortable talking about it. Next time you see them just ask, "By the way, do you know anyone who would be interested in earning another income? Full time or part time?"

For your big spenders, let them know that they could save alot of money just by setting up an account and ordering from themselves.

For your office ladies or businesses with multiple reps. Talk to a few of them and let them know that if one of them signed up to be an AVON rep they could team up and get their items at a discount as well.

Yes, signing up your customers can cause you to lose sales but in the end you are still building your business because you are working on your unit!

Find New Recruits With Raffles

Holding a raffle is a great way to get new contacts for both customers and referrals. You can hold a raffle for your current customers and you can also expand out to your local area.

Make raffle tickets that include their name, address, phone number and place to circle yes or no for:

Are you currently being served by an AVON Rep?

Are you interested in receiving future brochures?

Are you interested in receiving discounts?

Are you interested in becoming an AVON Rep for just $10?

Do you know anyone who may be in becoming an AVON rep?

Once you have your raffle tickets/questionaires build a small box with a flyer on it or even a fish bowl, large vase, or a some type of cute container. Call local businesses such as salons, mom and pop stores, and small businesses and ask them if you can leave a raffle at their business. Most will say yes. Set out your raffle box, raffle tickets and a few pens. If they will allow it put a few brochures out with it as well. Come back in a week or so and check your leads. You can leave it up for as long as they will allow.

Make sure you flyer shows what you have to offer. It could be a free make over, a $20 gift certificate or even a gift basket that you have created!

For your customers, you can leave off the first 2 questions. Just have each one of them fill out a raffle ticket and give it back to you. This will help you to know if any of your customers are intersested in becoming reps.

Use your leads to find out who is interested in receiving more info about becoming a representative and of coarse, a customer. Get in contact with these people ASAP! If you have several new leads consider doing them one on one or even in a group. Meet at a local office or cafe and go over the AVON opportunity with everyone at once!

Attending a local job fair can be quite an experience. Since people are their looking for a job, you know that your potential viewers need cash.

Tailgating is another great way for finding recruits. Sometimes it's hit and miss depending on the weather, location, and population.

Tailgating is simply setting up shop on the back of your car or on your tailgate in a parking lot. Of coarse some reps use tables and other props.

Put out FREE AVON signs. When someone stops give them a WN bag that has a brochure, samples and maybe even a mini. Have recruiting information on hand and bring up the subject with everyone you speak with. Offer a raffle as well. This will help you to get lead info. Have kits, mini kits and anything else you may have on hand.

Tailgating is another great way of selling products you have on hand, too.

Always be sure to check with the property owner and local ordinances before tailgating.

Teach Your Recruits to Be More Successful!

Teach your recruits everything you know so that they too can be successful!

The easiest tip that I can give any AVON rep in leadership is to teach your reps everything you know! Help them understand the best AVON sales practices, how to be succesful and how to get into leadership.

The more you teach them the better they will be. Not all of your downline will be successful. Some won't even place their first order or pay their first bill. Others will reach for the stars and help your reach for yours!

Always go over the kit with you new reps. Follow up in a few days and see how they are doing and if they have any questions. Check back with them the day before their order goes in. Remind them what time it goes in so that it won't be late.

Hold weekly, bi-weekly or monthly meetings. This is a great way for them to learn more and to share their thoughts and ideas with other reps in your unit. This can also be very fun and rewarding for you and your reps. You will be able to watch each other grow and become very successful business women.
