British Hairdressing Awards, 2013
In seven days time the winners of the most exciting awards ceremony within the hairdressing industry will be announced. Hairdressing salons all over the UK will be preparing themselves to find out who has been awarded the most prestigious of titles at HJ’s 2013 British Hairdressing Awards sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
On Monday 25th November 2013, The Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel, will once again play host to the biggest event in the hairdressing calendar as the awards ceremony acknowledges the country’s finest talents in various regions – Eastern, London, Midlands, North Eastern, North Western, Northern Ireland, Scottish, Southern, Wales & South West and specialist categories; Afro, Artistic Team, Avant Garde, Men’s, Newcomer and Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician.
This glamorous black tie event, hosted by a well-known television personality will see the greatest names in British hairdressing come together to celebrate the best of British creative talents. The eight nominees for the coveted title of British Hairdresser of the Year, Errol Douglas, Tim Hartley, Mark Hayes, Gary Hooker & Michael Young, Akin Konizi, Mark Leeson, Angelo Seminara and Jamie Stevens are all waiting in anticipation as to who will be awarded the ultimate accolade in the industry. This year’s winner will be in good company as previous recipients of the British Hairdresser of the Year Award include Trevor Sorbie, Irvine & Rita Rusk, John Frieda, Anthony Mascolo, Umberto Giannini, Andrew Collinge, Nicky Clarke, Charles Worthington, Mark Hill, Beverly C, Antoinette Beenders, Lisa Shepherd, Andrew Barton, Akin Konizi and the current British Hairdresser of the Year, Angelo Seminara.
