Macro-photography:
It is the field of photography in which images are recorded at a very close range. The subjects of this kind of photography encompass things like texture of a woven cloth, insects, flowers etc. The close-up photography shows very interesting details.
Photojournalism:
Photojournalism records only the facts. Manipulation or alteration of images is not permitted in this photography. Although a lot of amateurs jump into this field, only highly experienced and professional photographers can successfully capture the original emotions.
Documentary Photography:
This photography tells stories with the help of photos. This type of photography should not be confused with photojournalism. Photojournalism captures a particular scene or instance while documentary photography records photographs of a social or political period for the purpose of historical documentation. The similarity between these two types of photography is that both seek to show the truth without manipulating the snap.
Microphotography:
This type of photography captures the photos of extremely tiny subjects. Very specialized microscopes and cameras are used for this purpose. It is widely used in the disciplines like medicine, astronomy and biology.
Aerial Photography
In this type of photography, images are recorded from the air. Airplanes, parachutes, ultralights, balloons and remotely controlled aircraft are used to capture images from the air. These snapshots might be used for military purposes, to capture birds or weather on film, or for surveying or construction.
Portrait Photography
One of the oldest types of photography is portraiture. The goal is to show the personality of the subject. The goal is same no matter what the subject is.
Underwater photograhpy
Scuba drivers and snorkelers mostly employ this photography. This is a less common kind of photography due to very high costs. High costs are due to the fact that underwater photography equipment and scuba diving are too costly. Another problem that makes this type of photography uncommon is that recording snapshots underwater is very complicated because the scuba goggles are magnified and they distort the vision.
Wedding Photography:
