High School Sailing (Interscholastic Sailing Association – ISSA) kicks off the Championship sailing season with the Mallory Championship, to be held in Annapolis, MD on May 9-10. The Mallory Trophy, dedicated in 1930, will determine the best in doublehanded fleet racing among the 7 Districts represented by 20 schools across the USA. Competing in the Z420, the racing will be held on the Severn River off the Robert Crown Center and Triton Point.

The following schools have won their District qualifiers to represent their respective Districts at the National Championship:

Pacific Coast (4) – Point Loma HS (San Diego, CA); Newport Harbor HS (Newport Beach, CA); Corona del Mar HS (Newport Beach, CA); Long Beach Wilson HS (Long Beach, CA)
New England (4) – The Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT); Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT); St. Georges School (Middletown, RI); Manchester/Essex Regional HS (Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA)
Mid Atlantic (4) – Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA); Annapolis HS (Annapolis, MD); Severn School (Severna Park, MD); Key School (Annapolis, VA)
South Atlantic (4) – Shorecrest Preparatory School (St Petersburg, FL); Pine View School (Osprey, Fl); St. Thomas Aquinas HS (Ft Lauderdale, FL); Wando HS (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
Midwest (2) – Minnetonka HS (Minnetonka, MN); Oconomowoc HS (Oconomowoc, WI)
Southeast (1) – Clear Falls High School (League City, TX)
