I can't believe in the two years since I've had Hunter, they've come out with even newer, cooler, and smarter things for babies and moms to use. Just when I thought I was on top of the game, bam! they come out with something even more awesome.

Today, I've compiled a few things I wish I knew about two years ago - one that's a great alternative to its more expensive counterpart, one that totally blows me away for safety reasons and one that's a great way to share memories!

Milestone Baby Pregnancy and Newborn Cards ($24) - How precious are these? I wish I had known about these two years ago because while I did document my baby bump weekly, it was such a pain in the butt to photoshop the dates and weeks on every picture. I chose the Pregnancy and Newborn Card set that comes with 30 different cards to document everything from the first positive test to the baby's first outfit. They do skip around on the weeks so there's a card for eight weeks, 12 weeks, etc. (basically once a month) and then there's an empty card to fill in a week you choose. Another really cool note about these cards is that when you go to purchase, you can choose from over ten different languages. They also sell milestone cards for toddler firsts, twins, baby photo cards and activity cards.

Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock in Triangles ($49.95)  - So when Hunter was born, I rarely ventured out to go shopping in the beginning. Not only did I go full-on hermit because I had no clue what I was doing as a parent (and also was a huge germaphobe) but I was always worried about say, going grocery shopping - where would I put him? I knew it's a huge safety no-no to put your infant car seat in the front part of a shopping cart. There's no way to buckle it in nor does it even fit. It's not made to hold an infant car seat and is extremely dangerous. At any time, someone can bump into the car seat or the baby could wiggle in the car seat and it could topple off. I shutter at the mere thought! Anywho, the lovely (and super smart) people at Binxy Baby came up with a really cool idea for your little one that is super safe, cute and still allows you to fill up your cart! All you do is take the hammock out (it's small enough to keep in your diaper bag), clip it on the sides of the cart, tuck your little babe into the hammock and clip them in. Apparently, you can clip your infant car seat into the hammock as well but I haven't tried it yet as little man isn't here (a month and counting!). *The hammock meets/exceeds all safety inspections, can be used from birth up to 50lbs. and for use on standard carts (think Target!) 20-24 inches wide.

Finn + Emma Muslin Swaddle in Grey ($14) - I absolutely LOVE muslin blankets! They are so, so handy for more than just being used as a blanket. You can use them for a breathable cover over your car seat, as a breastfeeding cover, a blanket to lay down to change your baby - I mean, the list goes on and on. Another reason I absolutely love muslin blankets is that the more you wash them, the softer they get. They never seem to lose their quality through the washes as well. The Finn + Emma swaddles are 100% G.O.T.S. certified organic cotton with no toxins and only eco-friendly dyes. This swaddle is a great alternative to the more expensive swaddles out there with the same luxurious feel but with a cheaper price tag!

What are your baby must-haves? Do you wish that you knew or had a certain product your first time around? If so, what was it?
