**Position Description:
A Xerox Services, the **Business Transformation Consultant**is responsible for developing solutions across a variety of initiatives that facilitate and enable optimization and drive higher operating margins. The role requires an ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex business issues. Mine data (structured and unstructured), perform statistical analyses and build predictive models in order to expose opportunities for improvement. Develop valuable insights and actionable recommendations that enable the internal client(s) in achieving their transformation goals.
**Position Qualifications:
* Bachelor''s degree or equivalent in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or equivalent.
* MBA in economics or other quantitative discipline preferred.
* Five (5) years or more analytical consulting experience. Typical channels are:
§ Strategy practice within a global business performance firm.
§ Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis, or similarly analytical role within a Fortune 1,000 company.
* Project work should demonstrate focus on practical, actionable performance strategy, rather than conceptual strategy:
§ Analytical mindset and experience in terms of breaking down a project objective, structuring the workplan, conducting fact-based analysis, and hypothesis development and testing.
§ Mindset and experience that shows ability to think and decompose business problems into discrete steps/drivers.
§ Focus on economic performance/shareholder value creation in areas such as corporate finance, long-range planning, and/or portfolio strategy.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong abilities in working in a team and fostering a team environment.
* Positive, “can-do” demeanor – enthusiasm to make a difference.
* Strong facilitation skills – from small meetings to large working groups.
* **Technical Skills:
* Strong Microsoft Excel experience – should be comfortable with macros, advanced Excel functions, and large data-sets,
* Ability to distill complex data analysis into recommendations and high-impact communications (e.g. PowerPoint presentations.)
* Proficient in basic statistical analyses.
