**JOB SUMMARY:**

Manage the end-to-end executionprocess of print management and production for a Fortune 500 global company:deliver high quality marketing pieces, on-time and on-budget.

Working for brand-name clients in acorporate agency environment, this role procures and project-manages offset anddigital print media production, including direct mail. The ideal candidatewould have excellent client relations skills and would advise clients on thebest production process and cost to deliver the required results. Once agreed,they would project manage the job through the end-to-end process of execution.

This role includes managing thevarious process requirements such as attending briefs / quoting process /purchase order creation / proof exchange / pack testing (where applicable) anddelivery date follow up. Printing output includes documents that aremission-critical and time sensitive for the client, i.e., corporate annualreports required to meet legal and regulatory compliance.

This job requires comprehensive,advanced knowledge of all concepts, practices and procedures of the GraphicsCommunications discipline. Experience is required in all areas of commercialprinting and direct mail that includes job/file design, use of industrystandard design applications, file preparation for print including all commonPre-press activities, in-depth knowledge of common print methodologies (web,litho and digital) document finishing, warehousing and fulfillment, and postalrequirements. This role works on-site alongside with the marketing teams soexpect a fast-paced and demanding environment. Skills in creativity, problemsolving and detailed “fault-free” project management are essential.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

* Develop production strategies todecrease cost and increase efficiency and quality

* Recommend print quantitiesrequired based on usage/inventory, distribution and total document lifecyclecost.

* Determine most appropriate,cost-effective, solutions for static print and direct mail printing anddelivery.

* Attend high-end color presschecks, authorize changes, responsible for ensuring accurate color.

* Manage project from concept stagethrough final production and delivery to market

* Plan and coordinate multiplesuppliers involved in the print production and fulfillment portions of thedocument lifecycle.

* Determine business and technicalrequirements, match cost and value, control quality, and deliver on scheduleusing software tools such as Print Market Port and Spectrum Plus. Choose aprinter best suited to complete print job. This is based on obtaining a minimumof three price estimates and taking into consideration timelines, and qualityconcerns.

* Provide timely and accurateprojects that meet SLA’s by ensuring milestone approvals are completed toschedule – delivery deadlines, artwork uploads, approval etc.

* Recommend alternatives tospecifications on printing projects which result in reduced production costs tothe client and/or increased functionality of the document.

* Assist clients by evaluating andreengineering their documents to migrate from high volume offset printing toon-demand digital printing. Develop and manage client relationships.

* Contact is required toconvince/negotiate with the customer to co-operate, grant approval, or takeaction regarding matters of major significance.

* Manage questions and issues fromthe client and advise and solve accordingly

* Build and maintain excellentinternal relationships with the client, internal team and with suppliers.

* Utilize consultative sellingskills to identify customer pain points

* Experience with list management from clients,list providers or vendors

* History of quality controls in reviewingproofs, audits and first pieces

* Direct mail experience as must

* Forms creation and management a plus

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**

Minimum of 5 year’s directexperience in graphic communications or print/buying industry.

Bachelor degree or equivalentexperience.
