*Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to submit to a background and drug screen.*

*2nd shift - Sunday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 11:15 pm. *

*PRINT OPERATOR*

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION:*
*The print operator’s job is to set up and operate the continuous forms laser printing equipment as well as the ancillary pre and post processing equipment. Operators must be able to trouble-shoot printing equipment to meet established hourly production standards and perform preventive maintenance procedures at required intervals. Operators must be able to effectively use the quality control monitor while processing printed pages, as well as always monitoring quality of the final print output. All print operators must help maintain equipment by general cleaning, and maintain an organized, safe and clean work area.*
*Job Duties:*
*· Pull up proper job configurations on printers based on forms that will be printing, release of print files to printer according to the production schedules. Check for proper guide set ups and proper sensor detections.*
*· Check Final Prints for proper print position, content, sequencing and Image Quality.*
*· Follow Directions and Instructions provided by the DM Production Supervisor on all production releases.*
*· Perform checks and preventative maintenance procedures when schedules and required.*
*· Notify DM Production Supervisor of any mechanical needs or machine malfunctions.*
*· Properly label and tag printed lot/rolls for Letter-shop Production.*
*· Notify DM Production Supervisor of any quality issues, spoilage or reprints that are required.*
*· Maintain an organized, safe and clean work area.*
*PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS BUT NOT NECESSARY*
*· Experience in Letter-shop production environment, proper recovery of web breaks in a 100% mail environment.*
*· Release of print files from DOCS software and management of print queue in OCE’s Prisma server.*
*· Operation and Preventative maintenance on OCE 7650 and 8750 print models. Operation and Preventative maintenance of Laser-max un-winder, re-winder, vision inspection system, web- buffer, merger, cutter/stacker as well as all other ancillary pre- and post print processing equipment.*
*· Excellent oral communication skills.*

*INSERTION OPERATOR*

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION:*
*The inserter operators’ job is to set up and operate the DM inserting equipment as well as the ancillary pre and post processing equipment modules. Operators must be able to trouble-shoot the inserting equipment to meet established hourly production standards and perform preventative maintenance procedures and required intervals. Operators must be able to effectively use the quality control monitoring systems while processing direct mail packages, as well as always monitoring quality of the final insertion at output. Operator must be able to sort and prepare mail according to the USPS regulations, as well as to properly record any spoilage for reprints of letters, correctly manually reconcile diverted/failed packages processed throughout the inserting systems. All inserting operators must help maintain equipment by general cleaning, and maintain an organized, safe and clean work area.*
*Job Duties:*

*· Experience in Letter-shop production environment, proper recovery of list jams in a 100% mail environment.*
*· Operation and preventative maintenance of Kerns 3500 inserting equipment, ancillary modules and strapping equipment.*
*· Proper mail preparation according to USPS DMM regulations and provided container labels.*
*· Accurately record all spoilage needed for reprints, generate divert report for audit upon completion of each job.*
*· Excellent oral communication skills.*

*MANUAL INSERTION OPERATOR*

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION:*
*The job is to assist the Inserter Operator operate the DM inserting equipment. Helpers must be able to tag trays, strap mail trays and keep completed mail organized. Inserter Sweep must be able to effectively use the quality control monitoring systems while processing direct mail packages, as well as always monitoring quality of the final insertion at output. Inserter Sweeper must be able to sort and prepare mail according to the USPS regulations, as well as to properly record any spoilage for reprints of letters, correctly manually reconcile diverted/failed packages processed throughout the inserting systems. All Inserter Sweepers must help maintain equipment by general cleaning, and maintain a organized, safe and clean work area. Inserter Sweepers are responsible for stepping into the position of the Insertion Operator when requested to do so by a member of ACS management.*

Transcribes routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source document and/or phone call into an automated system.

Ensures accuracy and completeness data.

Performs clerical tasks in the data entry function.

Receives and distributes incoming mail and materials.
