I got my second Memebox this weekend, and I can’t wait to share it with you! Just a quick recap if you didn’t see my first unboxing (see it here!) a few weeks ago, Memebox is an amazing way to try Korean beauty products at a fraction of the regular cost. They’re the leading online Korean beauty retailer, best known for their non-subscription boxes packed with full sized products and deluxe samples shipped straight from Korea. They started in Seoul and are now headquartered in San Francisco. They currently ship to 44 countries, including the US. There’s no subscription to join, you just purchase the boxes you want.
This box is Skincare #9 ($ 29) and contains an entire skincare routine in a box (minus the cleansers). If you missed my post yesterday about my new Korean skincare routine, you’ll know why I was so excited to receive this box! I can’t wait to add these products into my daily routine.

This box was packed with 7 products, and 5 of them were full sizes! It comes with a card that talks about each product and gives instructions on how to use them. All together, this box totals close to $ 150 in value! The five full sized products come out to $ 147 retail, and that doesn’t include the 2 sample products I received.
So without further ado, lets see what was in the box!

Description:
“This is a softly applying spot cream for treating lines and wrinkles on your face. Packed with galatomyces, peony root extracts, and adenosine, it is gently on the skin yet very effective in filling in those fine lines. It’s especially recommended to be used around your eye bags because its anti-wrinkle formula’s much stronger than any average eye creams!”
How to Use:
Take a small amount and apply it on areas with fine wrinkles. Pat it in for better absorbency.
My Thoughts:
This is what it looks like when it comes out of the tube- it’s an opaque white cream with a nice light consistency that’s not greasy or heavy. It contains a lot of really good anti-aging ingredients, so I’m excited to try this out under my eyes!

How to Use:
Pump out 1 drop of the serum and apply it on areas with uneven skin tone and darkened spots. Pat it in for full absorbency.
My Thoughts:
First of all, I love the packaging of this product! It comes with a dropper that has a button on top of the bottle that you click and the dropper sucks up the product- then you click it again to dispense it. I’ve never seen a dropper like that- it’s really cool. It comes out as a clear serum-like texture and right now I’m all about whitening since my face is starting to show sun damage and spots. It has a light, fresh scent that I really like.

Secret Key Super Plumping Jelly Cream (Full Size!) Retails for $ 38

How to Use:
Either at the first or the last stage of skincare routine, apply the jelly cream evenly over your face. Gently roll your fingers onto the skin for massaging effects. Apply another layer of the cream on areas under eye contours and along the smile crease. You can also apply the cream on your neck for treating wrinkles and creases.
My Thoughts:
This is one of the coolest products I’ve tried yet. I love the packaging, it comes in a nice heavy jar and the gel itself looks and feels like Jello! It comes with a spatula to scoop it out and it’s really jiggly until you start to rub it into the skin and then it just melts right in. It’s super lightweight and feels cool going on. It sinks right in with no residue and is perfect for my skin now that it’s summer. In the Winter, it may be too light for me since I’m super dry, but this product would be amazing for those with Oily and Combo skin any time of the year.
Even though it looks pink, it doesn’t stain the skin and goes on clear.
Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence (Full Size!) Retails for $ 18
Description:
“Instead of water, this facial essence uses snail secretion filtrate, bee venom and EGF to cleanse your rough, damaged skin from external stresses and pollution. In addition to the skin-trouble care, moisture supply and skin tone improvement functions, it also help brighten up your complexion and remove signs of aging.”
How to Use:
Apply the essence generously over your face and pat it in for full absorbency.
My Thoughts:
Snail Mucin and Bee Venom are two of the hottest trends in Asia right now, although they haven’t quite made their way to the US. I was surprised to get this in my Memebox, because it’s such a popular product and a lot of bloggers in the U.S. have been talking about it as well, so it seems to be catching on here. Snail Mucin is supposed to help regenerate the skin and help to heal wounds and Katie Holmes is said to use products containing it. Bee Venom is also gaining popularity as it tricks the skin into thinking it’s been stung, therefore causing it to produce more collagen to repair itself and giving anti-aging benefits. Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckham are among some of the celebrities that are getting Bee Venom facials too.
I wasn’t sure about putting snail slime on my face, but it’s been purified and this product doesn’t have a scent at all. It’s a very thin essence (thinner than a serum) and goes on before your serums during your skincare routine.

Dewytree Teatree Porest Powder in Toner (Full Size!) $ 26
Description:
“This is highly moist facial toner enriched with green clay and tea tree leaf extracts for treating blemishes and other impurities clogging up and enlarging your pores. It’s secret formula lies in treating enlarged pores without dehydrating the skin.”
How to Use:
Shake the toner bottle well to get the powder and the liquid layers mixed up. Wet a cotton pad with the toner and gently wipe it over your face moving from the inner towards the outer contours. Leave the wet cotton pad over areas with excessively enlarged pores.
My Thoughts:
I am in love with this toner already! I use a Laneige toner at night, but I started using this in the daytime the past two days and it makes my face feel super smooth and matte- perfectly prepped for makeup. When you shake it up, the powder mixes with the liquid and it just feels like it’s cleaning out and purifying your pores- my face feels so clean afterwards. The best part is, it does this without stripping the skin, so even though I have dry skin, this still works great for me.

My Thoughts:
This toner is much thicker than your average toner- it feels like a serum and is super moisturizing. I can’t wait to try this on my face tonight- it smells heavenly, just like roses, but not in an overpowering way. It’s very subtle and fresh.

How to Use:
Apply the cream at last stage of skincare routine. Use the spatula to take a small amount of the cream and using your fingertips, spread it softly over your face. Pat it in for better absorbency.
My Thoughts:
This cream feels so nice on my dry skin. It’s rich and hydrating, yet sinks in quickly and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It contains peptides for anti-aging and bifida ferments (which is the main ingredient in products like Lancome’s Genifique and Estee Lauders Advanced Night Repair) so I’m excited to try this and see what it does for my fine lines and wrinkles.

Overall, this was another awesome Memebox! I’ll use every single product in here and I can’t wait to add them to my skincare routine.
