Description:

The role of the Manager will be responsible for administrating system workflow and functional support for Oracle financials systems (AR). This individual will collaborate with Subject Matter Expert (SME) to document functional processes and internal audit controls on the key Hotel Group AR systems and the delivery of technology solutions in support of finance AR strategy. He/she will provide system guidance and month end reporting support to the Accounting and Financial Planning department in regards to AR day to day operations and external audits. This position will also provide project management support on implementation of all AR finance systems with customer service, internal audit controls, and data governance.
Another key role of the Manager is to act as a business interface between the IT and account receivable departments to help ensure that IT development and maintenance priorities align with financial AR strategies and initiatives. This position will be responsible for daily management, administration, and technical end user support of all Wyndham Hotel Group AR finance systems and related data.
This position will take direction from the Director -WHG Finance Systems and Reporting to work on projects that achieve identified department goals which in turn align to the WHG corporate goals and strategic plans.
· Finance Systems support experience in Oracle and Hyperion roles is strongly preferred. The individual should have experience developing and/or supporting Finance related implementations.
· Strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, effective communication & Listening skills, flexible to demands
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office ,VBA programming and PL/SQL Programming
· Solid knowledge and experience in Oracle financial business processes, systems and operating models
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems or a related field
· 3-5 years functional experience with Oracle Applications, either in a user or consultant role-
· Professional IT-related project experience a plus
· Or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
