Wyndham Vacation Ownershipis currently seeking anIT Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will support the IT Program Manager with the management, planning and execution of program activities and artifacts during all phases of an IT Program. The IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate budget, schedule and program performance / metric information. Contributes to program presentations facing business and IT leadership, meeting agenda / minutes and facilitates action items & follow up.

Additionally, the Project Coordinator may also independently lead small projects or initiatives based on budget or technical complexity. As a lead on small projects, the coordinator will be accountable and responsible for ensuring project tracks to budget & schedule commitments – and communicate status to IT and business. The coordinator will follow PMO processes for budget, schedule, scope and risk management on their projects.

The IT Project Coordinator will support and facilitate PMO initiatives – including process improvement activities, tollgates, quality management and audits.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Manages and Reports on Program or Project financials, forecasts spend & resource demand, tracks planned to actual spend and resource utilization
* Manages to Program or Project schedule and work plans for required deliverables
* Maintains risks, issues and project changes using appropriate and approved tools or processes. Leads the impact assessment activities of risks or changes on project schedule and budget following best practice project management methodology
* Leads other IT PMO activities including - weekly project/program status report consolidation, PMO team and portfolio/tollgate meeting notes, action items, project / Clarity task creation
* Facilitates IT PMO quality management activities including audits of key artifacts & tollgate deliverables ensuring PCI/SOX compliance. Participates in IT continuous improvement or Process Excellence initiatives to streamline or improve project processes and delivery
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

* Associates Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Training requirements

* CaPM or PMP certification preferred
Knowledge and skills

* Strong verbal communication skills to interact with IT leadership, IT Program/Project leadership, Business customers, and Program/Project teams
* Strong written communication skills for authoring or maintaining project artifacts, publishing project status, change requests, action logs, risk/issue management or escalation
* Strong customer service skills including written and verbal
* Contributes to risk/issue resolution with Program leadership and team
Technical Skills

* Intermediate skill level in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project
* Experience with MS Visio and Ca / Clarity preferred
Job experience

* 3 years experience office administration
* 2 years experience managing projects or initiatives using PMLC methodologies
* 2 years experience managing projects in a matrix environment
