The American Society of Magazine Editors on Tuesday unveiled the finalists in its 10th anniversary Best Cover Contest.
The best 50 covers were selected by a jury of top editors, art directors and photo editors. Media junkies can vote for their favorite covers at texture.com/vote. The winners of the ASME best cover contest will be revealed at the American Magazine Media Conference on Feb. 2, which will take place the night before the Ellie Awards Annual Dinner.
According to ASME, 38 magazines are finalists in at least one of the 10 Best Cover Contest categories this year. Leading the pack with the most nominations are New York magazine and The New Yorker, both with four covers in the top 50. AFAR, Bloomberg Businessweek, ESPN The Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, The New York Times Magazine and Wired each have two finalists.
