RICHMOND, Va — A new survey suggests people who use emojis tend to have a spicier love life.
Match.com surveyed almost six thousand single people 18 and older and found people in their 20s, 30s and 40s were more likely to have sex at least once a month if they used emojis frequently.
A Rutgers University professor who helped develop the study said the link could be because people who use emojis may be more self-expressive and, in turn, more sexual.
As for reasons behind using emojis — half of emoji users said they thought using them gave their messages more personality.
