GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– The 23rd annual Guilford Corvette show is kicking off on Sunday. Not only are there awesome cars but the event is a fundraiser for the CT Food Bank.
Former president of Club Corvette of Connecticut, George Macary told News 8 about what’s revving up out there. He talks about how their club is the largest Corvette Club in the northeast region with over 300 members.
The fundraiser is for the CT Food Bank. With the donations from the past few shows, the CFB has told us that they have been able to produce 74,000 meals !
The Corvette Club of Connecticut also received the 2014 “Fundraiser Hero Award”.
They are located at the Moroso Performance Products facility, Exit 59 off I-95 in Guilford. News 8’s Gil Simmons is the special guest judge!
