(WTNH)– Research Vessel and Educator Cathy Hagadorn from Maritime Aquarium talks about a new boat coming to the Aquarium that’s bigger, quieter and greener!
She gives details about the new boat that’s coming soon to the Aquarium, as well as current programming and new programming, such as oceanography/history/lighthouses; citizen science and the “floating classroom”; conservation and feeling connected to the water.
For the past 25 years, The Maritime Aquarium has been inspiring people of all ages to appreciate Long Island Sound and protect it for future generations. A vibrant and entertaining learning environment, it achieves this goal through living exhibits, marine science, and environmental education.
There are current daily cruises in August, and later Fall cruises and Winter creature/seal spotting cruises.
