**Freeze Warning in effect until 8:00 am Sunday**
The First Warning Storm Team is tracking a very cold start to your Sunday.
The coldest temperatures of the season so far, will occur overnight and into Sunday morning. A freeze warning is in effect for much of the viewing area. This will be the first freeze of the season. Expect clear skies and calm winds overnight, which will help temperatures to drop into the 20s and 30s. Be sure to bring in any sensitive vegetation.
Heading into Sunday, high pressure will move to our southeast, and we’ll see our winds shift to the SW which will usher in some milder air. We’ll see highs in the low to mid 60s.
Our attention then turns to a developing low that will move toward the northeast Sunday. We will start to see some rain developing early Monday. Rain will continue to spread toward the northeast throughout the day. A rumble of thunder is not out of the question. Highs will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Rain will end from the southwest to northeast Monday night into Tuesday morning with some clearing.
A cold front will move through Wednesday. Not a lot of moisture available, but an isolated shower is not out of the question. High pressure will build in Wednesday night through Saturday.
Sunday: After a very cold start, we’ll see plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will rebound nicely into the lower 60. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.
Sunday night: Clear, then increasing clouds overnight. Don’t forget about the Supermoon! Lows in the mid 40s. Winds: SW around 5 mph.
Monday: Grab that umbrella! Rain develops from the southwest to the northeast throughout the day (60%). A rumble of thunder is not out of the question. Highs in the upper 50s to near 60s. Winds: E 10-15 with gusts up to 25 mph.
