TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Vigo County jury convicted a Terre Haute man of child molesting on Tuesday.
Anthony Evinger was convicted Tuesday afternoon after a brief jury deliberation. Court documents indicate Evinger had the child sit on his lap, and the child was then inappropriately touched.
Evinger stated he doesn’t remember any of that happening.
Sentencing will take place July 10.
