LAKE HARTWELL, SC (WSPA) – A major recreation center will bring zip-lining, boat rentals, ropes courses and other outdoor attractions to the Upstate.
Developers of Sanctuary Pointe, a resort in the works along the I-85 corridor and Lake Hartwell, released details about the plans for an Outdoor Life Center.
It marks the next step toward making this facility a reality.
The Outdoor Life Center would include adventures like zip lining, a ropes course, bike rentals archery and hiking trails.
Plans also include programming and amenities to serve veterans and their families.
According to the news release, team-building and services for special needs groups will be included as well.
Developers tell us construction could possibly start the 1st quarter of 2017, with an initial opening late spring/early summer of 2018.
