ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – On Tuesday afternoon, at least 2,000 AEP customers in Roanoke County were without power.

Some areas of the New River Valley are also experiencing outages.

AEP has fixed the largest section of outages in Roanoke County in the Cave Spring area, which it said was caused by a tree.

More than 1,000 people in the Roanoke Valley are still without power.
