(11Alive) POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A crime alert: nearly 100 people were busted in a Polk County, Fla. prostitution sting, some allegedly paying for sex acts with taxpayer’s money.

In “Operation Naughty Not Nice,” dozens of people got caught up in the five-day prostitution crackdown, and they possibly rescued three teenage sex trafficking victims.

11Alive’s sister station WTSP is digging deeper into the arrests from two sets of twins to a man in a French maid costume and a teacher.

“What did we agree to, $40,” asks an undercover detective posing as a prostitute. “OK,” says Timothy Percell. Investigators say Percell, a George Jenkins High School math teacher, is caught on camera agreeing to pay who he thought was a prostitute.

“It disgusts me,” says George Jenkins High School parent Kelly Baker. “Teachers, adults, should know better. Not just teachers, adults should know better,” says Baker.

“We’ll get going, how’s that,” asks the detective. “Oh, it’s good,” replies Percell. It wasn’t so good for Percell, when the woman walked out of the room, deputies stormed in.

The Polk County School District says Percell has worked on and off with the district the past decade, but he just started teaching again here at the high school this year. Getting caught up in the prostitution sting not only landed him in jail, it cost him his $40,599 per year job.

“He’s an algebra teacher. Wonder how that math worked out for him,” says Sheriff Grady Judd.

Judd says the married man admits to trolling Craigslist for women daily and meeting up with them monthly.

“What’s your wife think about that, buddy?” wonders Judd.

Sixteen others busted confessed they’re married, too.

Investigators say Kimberly Fitch’s boyfriend, Allen Hicks, drove her to the motel with their 2-year-old in the car.

In a sting first, detectives arrested two sets of twin sisters.

Maurice Laws admitted he got arrested in a similar sting at the same place last year.

Twenty-five of the suspects report they get government assistance.

Then, there’s David Marsh. Investigators say he rode his bicycle wearing a French maid costume, dog collar and leash — to pay to be dominated.

“I want you down here on the floor, and I’ll be right back,” the undercover detective told Marsh.

“It’s on the news how often people are getting busted. It just shows how really stupid these people are,” says Baker.

Judd says they’re still investigating if a 15-year-old girl and two 17-year-olds arrested for prostitution are in fact victims of sex trafficking.
