bryndonovan:

(I do not know how to make that image smaller! Moving on!) It grew out of some lists on my blog that
got super popular (though it is mostly new stuff.)

It’s meant to help with inspiration and make writing go faster. It has lists of:

• 175 master plots
•  ways to describe facial expressions, and body language and gestures, and physical attributes, and emotions
• lists of character traits, and character names

• and many more things.

You can get it in print or ebook at Amazon, or get the ebook at Barnes and Noble or iBooks.

Anyway the easiest way to tell if you would like it is to look at the Table of Contents, which I will put under the cut. If you think it looks good, please reblog!

Everyone: I just got this book today and I’m CRYING I’m so excited! I stumbled across Bryn’s master list of facial expressions awhile back and was psyched to see she had a whole book of lists coming out. I figured it would just be more description lists (which is great!) but it actually has SO much more! Just a few of the things I’m most excited about:

– 100 potentially interesting settings for scenes
– Plot ideas, plot twist ideas, motives, and reasons for things happening
– Word lists
– NAMES!!! (Surnames, too)
– Character traits

This is honestly a writer’s dream guide, and so perfect for those moments when you’re stuck and need a little nudge in the right direction. With Christmas on its way, this would be an excellent addition to your Christmas list, not to mention a great gift for writer friends. Definitely check it out!

ETA:

You’re so welcome @bryndonovan! I’ve read through the whole thing and I love it! Such a fantastic resource for any writer. :)
