UPDATE: Police say Rayleigh Bunker was found safe at a home in James City County at around 5 p.m.

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — James City County police say they are looking for a missing girl who is in need of medication.

Rayleigh Bunker left Lafayette High School around 12:30 p.m. Thursday in a white Kia Soul, according to police. The car was found early Friday morning at Newport News City Park Visitors Center on Jefferson Avenue.

Police say Bunker, 17, is on medication for mental health and does not have her medication with her. She is described as being 5’2” tall, with brown hair, blue eyes and an elephant tattoo on her ankle.

James City County Police are working with other local law enforcement agencies to located Bunker.
