Rose is a 2-3 year old female Domestic Short Hair who came to the shelter as a stray. She has not been tested with other dogs or cats at this time. Rose is on the smaller side and is very sweet but she’s a bit shy at first and needs time to warm up to people. Once Rose gets to know you she’s very sweet and loves attention.

Augie is a 5 year old male Domestic Short Hair who was surrendered to the shelter with his brother Eros due to his owners health. He has not been tested with dogs but does get along with other cats and kids. Augie is a pretty large and lovable cat who enjoys being held and brushed.

Shadow is a 2 year old female Domestic Short Hair who was surrendered to the shelter. Shadow can be shy at first and takes some time warming up to people so she would do well in a home with older kids who understand her temperment. She has not been tested with dogs and might be good with other cats. Shadow would be great in a quiet home but she does like to be held and gently pet.

Rocco is a 1yr old male lab mix who was surrendered to the shelter. Rocco would do well in a home with teens. He is good with most dogs, but not cats. Rocco is young and playful and needs lots of activity! He is a very sweet and loving boy who would just like to have all the attention he deserves.

Simba is a 1 yr old male pit bull mix. Simba and his good friend Nala were surrendered to Hi Tor because their owners are getting divorced. Nala has since been taken by a rescue. Because of Simba’s activity level he would do well in a house with kids 10 and over. He is good with other dogs, depending on the dog, but not good with cats. Simba is house broken and is a high energy dog who will need a strong owner.

Diamond is 5 yr old female Shar Pei mix who came to the shelter because her owner passed away. She came in with Jade, Jasper and Grace. They all got loose and were seen running around town. Diamond has had a tough life. She was over bred and neglected but is still very sweet. Because of the issues she’s had in the past, we feel that Diamond would do best in a home with older kids. She may be good with other dogs but no cats. She is a bit shy at first with certain men and we feel that she would do well in a quieter home with not a lot of traffic.
