Consciousness of Connecticut announces the Festival of India is coming to Bushnell Park in Hartford on Saturday June 28 from noon to 5pm. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend. Rain date is Sunday June 29. This celebration of Indian cultural heritage begins at noon with a colorful chariot parade called “Ratha Yatra”, accompanied by festive singing and dancing.The parade route begins in front of the Capitol Building and proceeds around Bushnell Park.
