COLUMBUS, Ga. – Police are searching for an individual who robbed a person biking on the old train tracks that were converted into a paved trail.
According to Columbus Police investigators they say it happened at the Columbus Fall Line Trace Monday, September 7th around 1 PM near Hilton Avenue and the bike shop.
After, the individual ran off with the victim’s back pack and bike.
The victim ran to the bike shop to call police and let them know what had just happened.
Police are describing the individual as a black man wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
