Cesar Millan is a self-taught dog expert who believes every canine can be disciplined.

The wrath of animal rights activists spares no one, not even the man who is known by all to be a great animal lover. And because activists are known to exaggerate and to smell any irregularity, Cesar Millan is being investigated for animal cruelty, while Hollywood is still filled with Chihuahua dogs in purses or painted cats and dogs that match the owner’s hair color.

Cesar Millan has made a name out of himself by proving that he is a modern-day dog whisperer. The man takes pride in being able to educate any dog that is making the life of his owners as hard as the bones he chews on.

And after Millan’s ability got popular, he was offered a TV show where, each episode he travels to the home of hopeless owners, picks up the naughty dog, trains him in front of the camera, and then returns to the owners with a changed, repented quadruped and a list of advice.

Basically, every episode has the same format, the only changing element being the guest star, aka the dog that needs training.

In the last season of his show, one of these canine stars was Simon, a French bulldog mix. Simon lived on a farm with his indulgent owners and some pot-bellied pigs. The problem with Simon is that he wasn’t very friendly when it came to the pigs, and he usually attacked them.

Simon is a bulldog-terrier mixed breed, meaning that Milan had to make an extra effort when it came to educating the canine. Both races of dogs being highly stubborn and overly attached to the owners. It turned out that all he needed was a bit of discipline.

While still training the dog in question, Millan was showed setting him free near the pigs. Because Simon was still in boot camp, so to say, he turned to his old ways and attacked one of the pigs, pinching his ear. A little blood was shed, but the team stopped filming, and the pig was taken care of, immediately. According to the owners, the victim has recovered completely.

But the activists that happened to be watching the show didn’t. Instead, they reported Millan for animal cruelty.

According to National Geographic Wild, the station that produces and airs Millan’s shows, the dog whisperer is collaborating with the authorities. Also, they pointed out the fact that without his help, Simon would have probably been euthanized because of his previous aggressive behavior.

So after saving the life of a dog, Cesar Millan is being investigated for animal cruelty because the only thing that some viewers saw in that show was the drop of blood coming from the pig’s ear.
