It’s a pop-culture obsessed hour complete with colorful diatribes, opposing opinions, and a dissection-like discussion that will make your drive home from work more fabulous!

10) RuPaul’s HUGE Emmy Win
HOORAY for Mama RuPaul! She snatched her first Emmy, the FIRST she’s ever been nominated for, mind you. CONDRAGULATIONS to RuPaul!
9) Rest in Power: Lady Chablis & Alexis Arquette
We lost two trans icons this week when both Lady Chablis and Alexis Arquette passed away. They’re both gone too soon, and we’ll miss them both dearly.
8) E.L.O.M.G.: Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl
Fenton recently had the privilege of seeing one of his all-time favorite pop bands at one of the most famous venues in the world – Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl!
7) The Beat Goes On: The Sonny & Cher Show is BACK on the Air
One of the most iconic duos of all time – Sonny & Cher – ruled the air waves in the 1970s. Now you can relive all the magic on Get TV every Monday night at 8PM! We discuss the incarnations of the show, Cher‘s fabulous wardrobe, and lots more!

The story of JT Leroy is back in the headlines because of the recent documentary Author: The JT Leroy Story. We discuss the greatest literary hoax of all time, and find out why James St. James was so jealous of JT Leroy back in the early aughts.
5) The Reappearance of Author Dennis Cooper’s Blog
Author Dennis Cooper’s fabulous blog, where he would tell stories by stringing together GIFs, famously vanished from the internet recently. Thankfully it’s back, and maybe you should enjoy it while you still can.

Hood by Air’s recent fashion show, sponsored by Porn Hub, featured models wearing clothes emblazoned with the word wench and dripping in what looked like baby batter! They said it was meant to be like when mischievous children get into household products like vaseline. Yeah…right. See more pics here. The whole thing reminded Fenton of these ads from (not) Puma.

Did you know there is a plan to drain the Mediterranean Ocean? And that there is a forever burning hole in the earth, that some believe to be the portal to hell, in Turkmenistan? Read about all this and TONS of other crazy things in the new book Atlas Obscura, which is based on their great blog.
