Degree Audit Tooltips:

The blue links have explanations and information about the courses.

At least 50% of major requirements must be Penn State credits.

You will want to complete both courses if your intent is to take the LSAT and apply to law school. In this case one of these courses will fulfill Bachelor of Arts or Elective requirements if they are not already fulfilled with transfer credits.

Taking PL SC 470W as part of this requirement will also fulfill the "writing across the curriculum" requirement.

Take nine credits of coursework from the list below.

At least 3 credits of GN must fulfill the laboratory requirement for Liberal Arts. Your World Campus Adviser can help you select a GN/lab course.

Refer to the Undergraduate Degree Program Bulletin for questions on what is General Education.

If you have not completed an equivalent course through another school, you are required to take the Online Placement Test for English.

ENGL 202A, 202C and 202D are offered through World Campus. You will take this course your 5th semester or later.

CAS 100B and 100C are offered through World Campus and both fulfill this requirement.

If you have not completed the prerequisite course at Penn State or an equivalent course through another school, you are required to take on Online Placement Test for mathematics.

By using the additional course search criteria on the schedule of courses, you can find courses that satisfy GN, GA, GH, GS and GHA requirements.

Taking HIST 020 and HIST 021 for your major will fulfill this requirement.

Taking PHIL 105 for your major will fulfill 3 of the 6 credits needed for this requirement. By using the additional course search criteria on the schedule of courses, you can find courses that satisfy GN, GA, GH, GS and GHA requirements.

By using the additional course search criteria on the schedule of courses, you can find courses that satisfy GN, GA, GH, GS and GHA requirements.

You must complete levels 001, 002 and 003 of the same language. For more information, see the Foreign Language Policy on the Undergraduate Bulletin.

Courses that fulfill the Bachelor of Arts Requirements are listed on the Undergraduate Bulletin.

Other cultures are cultures other than Western cultures. These courses may also double count for general education, Bachelor of Arts or elective requirements. You can find a list of "other cultures" courses on the Undergraduate Bulletin

18 credits of electives are required for this degree. An elective is any course for which you have met the prerequisite and want to take. Transfer credits may fulfill elective requirements.

This requirement refers to years of foreign language taken in High School. If there is a deficiency, you will be required to take one semester of a foreign language within the first year of courses at Penn State.

This requirement is waived for World Campus students.

Taking PL SC 470W for your major will fulfill this requirement as well.

Taking HIST 020, HIST 021 or PHIL 105 for your major will also fulfill this requirement.

Choose one 3 credit course that fulfills the US and one 3 credit course that fulfills IL or international cultures requirements. These courses may also double count for general education, Bachelor of Arts or elective requirements. You can find a list of US or IL courses in the Undergraduate Bulletin.

You must fulfill all of the requirements above to complete this degree. Students with transfer credits may graduate with more than the 123 credit minimum.

If you are transferring in more credits than you need to fulfill electives, then this number will be inaccurate for you. Work with your World Campus Adviser to determine the number of credits remaining to fulfill this degree.
