The American Express World Service Technology organization seeks full-stack product engineers with a bias toward mobile apps to act as strategic leads for innovative, integrated new digital products on teams inspired by technology firms that practice agile development at scale. As a member of a small, multi-disciplinary team of technologists, designers, and product strategists, youll make key product decisions, build product features and backlogs, and ship ideas quickly. Youll be a part of a fast paced product development and management environment in an organization with millions of existing users. The teams will work on problems that truly matter for American Express customers transform customer service for a multi-device and omnichannel world that integrates digital innovations with current non-digital experiences. We will exude leanness, practicing iterative design techniques to concept, prototype, test, and build products. We will commit to a fast-paced release cycle from idea to product, measured in weeks instead of months. Youll be involved in all parts of the product development process from brainstorming and conception, to invention, prototyping, testing, building, and launch. You'll brainstorm approaches to the problems we face, work with designers to create mockups and prototypes, test ideas in front of customers, code, ship, and tweak. Your work will evolve into a product that will ship within 6 months of your start date.
