The Mundy Companies is looking for a bright motivated software developer with 1-3 years of experience to build custom software which improves the lives of our users and have fun doing it. This is a full time position located in the Houston/Sugar Land area. Here at Mundy we try not to put lipstick on a pig, unless it's a really cute pig, so we don't want to waste your time applying for a job at a company that isn't what you thought it was. So here is who we are: We are a small IT department supporting a user base of about 200 active internal users in a 4,000 person company. Our primary function is to support the back office billing, payroll, and HR processes for our company along with finding ways IT can improve business processes across the company. We write our own custom software as well as support an off the shelf accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010). We are a small team which requires us to work in all the different areas of IT from software development to infrastructure planning. Everyone has the freedom to enhance things as they feel best and we hold each other accountable for their actions. We have to live with our mistakes. If you want to learn, push yourself, try out new ideas, and improve the working environment of others this may be the place for you. We are looking for college graduates or professional software developers with 1-3 years of experience to join our team.
