Picked up this East Indian Rosewood vase blank from a local wood seller. The seller also happens to be a turner, and makes some amazing museum quality pieces. He joked with me that this piece somehow missed "quality control" as it ended up in the SELL pile instead of ending up on his lathe!
Piece is 5.5" round by 9 3/4" long. Now I just have to focus on not screwing it up!
