Ingredients for Banana Modak

Wheat flour – 1 cup

Banana – 2

Jaggery – 3/4 cup

Grated Coconut –  1 tbsp

Poha / Flattened rice – 2 tbsp

Semolina – 2 tbsp

Salt – pinch

Ghee – 2 tsp

Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Oil for frying

Steps to prepared Banana Modak

I have used 2 little riped bananas.

Grind together banana, jaggery, coconut, poha, semolina adding little H2O to form a thick decorous paste.
