Although a Golden Globes only took place this past Sunday and a 88th Academy Awards are set to take a spotlight on Feb 28, a Razzies are also a hallmark of awards season. Officially famous as a Golden Raspberry Awards, a Razzies applaud a misfortune in acting, filmmaking and directing as they compensate reverence to a year’s misfortune cinema and box bureau flops.
The nominations for a 36th Annual Razzies were only announced yesterday, in a form of a quirky YouTube video. For 2015, a nominated Worst Pictures of a year are Jupiter Ascending, Fifty Shades of Grey, Pixels, Fantastic Four, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
Meanwhile, a year’s Worst Actors embody Johnny Depp for his starring purpose in Mortdecai, along with Jamie Dornan for his partial as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. Naturally, comedian Kevin James is also adult for a curtsy for personification mall confidence ensure Paul Blart in Paul Blart Mall Cop 2.
Staying loyal to his repute as a Razzies veteran, Rolling Stone reports that 49-year-old actor Adam Sandler is adult for his 13th Worst Actor nomination. This time, Sandler is nominated for his roles in Pixels and The Cobbler. As well, Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum is a hopeful for Jupiter Ascending.
As for Worst Actress, Katherine Heigl is adult for her starring purpose as Mona Champagne in Home Sweet Hell. Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson’s purpose as Anastasia Steele in 50 Shades of Grey has also warranted her a mark on a list. The remaining nominees embody Mila Kunis for Jupiter Ascending, Jennifer Lopez for The Boy Next Door and Gwyneth Paltrow for Mortdecai.
