Selfridges launches its first ever car  – a limited-edition zero-emission electric car in collaboration with iconic British carmaker Morgan.

To celebrate the advent of Morgan’s first ever zero-emission, all electric car in 2017 and Selfridges launching a new charter pledging the retailer to become the most sustainable business it can be, both brands have produced a worldwide exclusive car called the UK1909 Edition.

Bespoke for Selfridges, based on the forthcoming Morgan EV3 model – to be commercialised at the end of 2017 by Morgan – the UK 1909 Edition will only be made in a limited edition number of 19, prices at £52,500 each and available to buy at a new Morgan concession to be set up in Selfridges Oxford Street from the end of November.

9 iconic British brands are joining the unique collaboration, each providing a piece of accessory – made to measure – making up a complete driving kit, from driving goggles to driving shoes, and available to purchase only by those buying the UK1909 Edition. The brands include Globe-Trotter, Alexander McQueen and Saville Row tailor, Richard James.
