Game Information

Wolf is a play-by-post roleplaying game with an RPG rating of 3-3-3, meaning readers may encounter extreme violence, sexual content or vulgar language in the IC threads here. Ye be warned!

Common Courtesy

Our #1 policy is common courtesy. Everybody has their own opinions, their own situations, their own experiences and their own way of thinking, but we expect players to be mindful of one another and address one another courteously, compassionately and appropriately. Handle disputes privately when possible, and if you feel that you cannot handle a dispute alone, please contact an administrator for assistance. We absolutely do not tolerate bullying or disrespect here.

Activity

We ask that members make 1 post every 2 weeks on each account to remain active, and activity is checked on Saturdays. Should you need to be away from the game for longer than 2 weeks, you should set your status to Away in your profile. If you know you'll be away for longer than a month, please consider discussing PPC status with your pack's leaders if you want your character to remain with their pack. Absences longer than one month will result in removal, but you're always welcome to return when you're able to! If you are consistently very inactive, your pack leaders may remove you from their pack at their discretion.

Characters

Players may have as many characters as they can keep active, and each player may play up to 3 Alpha or Beta characters. Each character should have its own separate account.

Roleplay Etiquette

Become familiar with what the terms godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming and retconning mean in the context of forum roleplaying, and be sure to avoid these behaviours. Each of these behaviours is considered to be poor roleplay etiquette, and they are against the rules here. The only exception is minor powerplaying that does not harm a character, but you must have permission from those affected. If you're unsure, just don't do it!

Posting In IC Forums

Posts containing only OOC content in IC forums are not permitted and will be deleted. Posting is done in turns. You should always wait your turn to post, and ensure that your fellow roleplayers get their turn to post as well. Players may only post out of turn if it's specified in the thread that there is no post order. Otherwise, unless a member gives explicit permission, their turn should never be skipped!
Exception! If a thread participant is on absence and their absence is holding up a high priority thread between 3 or more roleplayers, in order to keep the thread moving, they may be skipped and can jump back in as soon as they are able. Please only do this if necessary!
