Another lighter area of rain will affect Scotland, North Wales and northern parts of England perhaps with a few snow flurries over the Pennines. Maximum temperatures of 5 to 7 Celsius but feeling colder in the wind.

Friday Night As strong winds back to the north west it turns colder through the evening and night. Any rain with snow on it's back edge is expected to east The East Midlands, East Anglia and the south east this evening. Clear, windy and cold overnight with showers turning increasingly wintry around North Sea coasts. Expect minimum temperatures of 0 to -3 Celsius.

Saturday It remains windy with strong north to north west winds making it feel cold. Scattered snow showers will affect eastern coasts of England and Scotland with few around by the afternoon. Most parts of the country will be dry with sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain, preceded by some snow on the hills for a time, spread across Northern Ireland and Scotland this evening then across much of England and Wales overnight as it turns milder. Maximum temperatures of 3 to 5 Celsius.

Sunday A windy, cloudy, wet and mild day to come with outbreaks of rain and drizzle with hill fog The rain clears Scotland by tonight as it becomes cold with snow showers in the north. Light rain persists across England and Wales, dry with clear spells for Northern Ireland. Maximum temperatures of Ireland and a 6 to 10 Celsius.
