Twenty dogs, taken from a Morgan County home, will soon be available for adoption. Out TV partner, WVLT, reports the animals were found inside the home living in deplorable conditions and without food and water. The dog’s owner, Jessie Gilbert, is facing 18 counts of cruelty to animals. The animals were taken to an emergency shelter to be cared for, authorities say once Gilbert surrenders ownership the dogs will be up for adoption.
