FBI Sources Tell Fox News An “Indictment Is Likely” In Clinton Foundation Case.

Justice Department official gave Clinton camp ‘heads up’ about testimony. A Justice Department official with close ties to Hillary Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta sent him a “heads up” last year to warn that lawmakers might question witnesses about the presidential candidate’s private emails, messages released Wednesday by WikiLeaks show. Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik, the official now in charge of informing Congress about the revived Clinton email probe, gave a personal status update to the Clinton campaign in the email sent May 19, 2015. The message from his Gmail account to Podesta was titled: “Heads up.”  “There is a [House Judiciary Committee] oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify,” Kadzik wrote. “Likely to get questions on State Department emails.”

Leaks suggest FBI agents felt DOJ blocked their Clinton investigations. (Washington Examiner) — FBI agents felt as though the Justice Department tried to block them from investigating multiple allegations of wrongdoing and corruption against Hillary Clinton over the past year. More than a dozen current and former agents have spoken anonymously to multiple media outlets over the past week, including to the Washington Examiner. FBI field agents have complained of tensions between the bureau and the Justice Department when it came time to consider more aggressive moves, such as issuing subpoenas. Some investigators felt as though the Justice Department attempted to stymie a year-long probe into the Clinton Foundation, CNN reported Wednesday.

Republicans Have Cast 17,000 More Votes than Democrats in Florida. With six days left until Election Day, Republican voters have cast more ballots in Florida than Democrats, a reverse from the 2012 election. “Six days before Election Day in 2012, Democrats in Florida had cast about 39,000 more votes than Republicans,” reports Tampa Bay Times’s Adam Smith. “Today, six days before Election Day 2016, Republicans have cast about 17,000 more votes than Democrats.” The early voting numbers suggest the election will be a very close race in the Sunshine state, according to Smith. Republican National Committee (RNC) Political Director Chris Carr touted early vote numbers in Florida during a phone call with reporters.

5am – E         The Cubs outlasted the Indians 8-7 in 10-innings to claim their first World Series championship since 1908. CLEVELAND (AP) — The Latest on Game 7 of the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians early Thursday (all times local): 1:40 a.m. Hillary Clinton got to cheer her hometown Chicago Cubs’ victory in the World Series. With the game going to extra innings, Clinton was able to catch the final moments after finishing a rally in Arizona on Wednesday night. She watched on an aide’s iPad as she stood by her idling motorcade. Reporters in vans further back in the motorcade could hear cheers from the direction of Clinton’s vehicle after the final out in the Cubs’ thrilling 8-7 victory in Game 7. An aide said Clinton staffer and Cubs fan Connolly Keigher pulled one of the Cubs’ signature “W” flags from her purse and she and Clinton held it up in celebration.

Bill Murray overcome with joy the moment Cubs win World Series. (USA Today) — The Chicago Cubs won the World Series on Wednesday night in Cleveland in an incredible 10 innings vs. the Indians. It put an end to the Cubs’ 108-year title drought, and superfan Bill Murray, who was one of many celebrities at the game, couldn’t believe it. Murray’s celebration was glorious. He tried honking MVP Ben Zobrist’s new car on the field, then he went into the locker room and acted as a Fox Sports reporter.

6am – A/B     Federal takeover of Metro? Board chairman’s proposal triggers debate but has some support. (Washington Post) — Metro Board Chairman Jack Evans urged a federal takeover of the transit system Wednesday, instantly triggering a regionwide debate over what would be a drastic step to solve the agency’s financial and management problems. Evans’s call for a federal control board with “extraordinary powers” to run Metro drew a surprisingly positive response from several leading elected officials and former Metro board members. Virginia’s transportation chief and the chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors were open to the idea. D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) renewed her call for a regional sales tax or other reliable funding for Metro while leaving open the possibility of supporting a takeover.  But such a move would face major political obstacles. Many in Congress would resist using taxpayer funds to support the transit agency.

6am – E         “Greedy Halloween kids” empty an unattended candy bowl and divide a D.C. (Washington Post) – The duo were dubbed the “greedy Halloween kids” in a posting accompanying a security camera video on a neighborhood listserv. In the video, the pair are seen taking a healthy share — the whole bowl, in fact — of treats from a black cauldron on the front porch of a home on Garrison Street in Northwest Washington. One of the two children can be seen unzipping her backpack and dumping the entire bowl of candy inside. Then a boy with her takes some of the candy from her backpack and puts it into his bag. The children appear to be elementary or middle school students. The video was posted to a Chevy Chase neighborhood listserv after Halloween by a homeowner who described how his family put out a bowl of candy so they could take their 6-year-old daughter trick-or-treating. “Less than an hour later a pair of kids showed up with a large backpack and emptied the entire bowl,” the homeowner wrote. He went on, asking his neighbors, “If you recognize the kids in this video link below, please let them know they are not welcomed on Garrison St. next year.” The video has since been removed. Attempts to reach the man who posted the video and those in charge of the listserv were unsuccessful, but plenty of neighbors weighed in. One neighbor said the trick-or-treaters were “welcome always” and listed her address. Then she wrote, “Perhaps a sign on the candy bowl as to how much to take would have been helpful.”

7am – D         Top  Moments of the 2016 CMA Awards:

That’s a wrap on the 2016 Country Music Association Awards. The always star-studded CMAs brought out the genre’s biggest names, especially so on the night that Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena was filled with CMA winners from the past 50 years. And while a room chock-full of country stars doesn’t seem like one that would result in some ridiculous moments, but like any awards show, of course, the CMAs resulted in a little bit of ludicrosity (hello, Billy Ray Cyrus?). Here’s what turned out to be the best and worst moments of country’s biggest night.

Brad’s shots at Donald Trump: Before the election jokes got a little old, Brad Paisley filled part of his first exchange with co-host Carrie Underwood with classic Trump remarks like “This show is rigged,” “Only if I win” and “You’re a nasty woman.” It was a rather sly way to poke fun at the presidential candidate’s controversial ways.
